A BEST FRIEND
A best friend
is always there,
whether you need advice,
or a pep talk,
or even a shoulder to cry on.
A best friend
listens with her heart
and is always honest with you,
even though the truth
may not be
what you want to hear.
A best friend
knows all your secrets,
understands your fears
shares your dreams.
A best friend
never stops believing in you
even if you give up
on yourself.
you are
that kind of friend
to me.
And no matter what happens,
you always will be.
You are my best friend....
my forever friend.

Friendship is one of the strongest things in the world. You sometimes find the best friends in people you never would have guessed and sometimes you see people for who they really are. It is always nice to see friendships thought the school but in one case or another you find friends who aren't there anymore. The truth of the matter is that we all grow up. We can't stay friends with childhood friends because they have changed or maybe you have changed.

The poem that i have above helps me remember who my friends are who has been their though it all, but the truth is none of them have been their though it all. They haven't known me my whole life, but they do their best to help me with the time that we have been friends. You know when you move schools and you don't know anyone that's how it feels when you start to move out of your friend group and in to a new one. You will never be the same again but that doesn't mean that they're wont be a time or two that you go to the friend group and still have that friendship you had before you moved a little. Now go out there and meet someone new. It could be a person in a class that you don't have any friends in or maybe a person in the hall or cafe. Who knows? Just find it in yourself to try and make a new friend this year and see where they take you.
