A road trip. Something that my family seems to do a lot of. My favourite trip that i went on this past summer. My family, my Boyfriend (at the time) and i went up to a provincial park called Killbear. It was a long 4 hours to get their, but a lot of fun. We decided to take two cars up because of how many people and dog that were coming with us. In my moms black car was my mom, younger sister and i. And in my dads van was my dad ad my boyfriend.
With the two cars packed full we headed out to the 401. We had a long trip in front of us. Once on the highway we really got moving. After being on the 401 for about an hour we headed off north on the 400 and as soon as we got to a nice speed I fell asleep for a good two hours. With the only way of talking thought the cars being texting between my boyfriend and i. Once i woke up we all (as in the girls) that it was time to stop and get a little something to eat. So we pulled off the 400 and stopped at a small subway that was in the middle of no where. It was a little funny. So with my mom, sister, boyfriend and i went in to order our subs while my dad stayed out side with my dog Zoe. She was a little on edge because we had stopped and she didn't know where we were.
After a nice light lunch we all hoped back into our cars and got going again.
As we continued down the highway we started to see little stone figures on both sides of the road. It was really cool to see that people had stopped and had taken the time to do something that will have a lot of meaning to them every time they drive by. It was also really cool to see all the stone that they had to go thought to get the highway to get all the way down to Toronto. And it also really showed how far we were from the place's i new.
